A Comprehensive Framework for Enhancing National Security through AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming a pivotal element within the domain of national security. This article examines the current applications of AI in national security and provides a comprehensive framework for its adoption. The use of machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) has sped up the process of intelligence gathering, data analysis, zonal identification of conflict zones and decision-making processes. However, the adoption of these strategies requires a detailed governance framework that integrates AI and national security in a way that is both practical and beneficial for the state security. This study has employed a qualitative research design and data was analyzed using thematic analysis. By contributing to the academic discourse on AI's role in national security, this study aims to provide insights that could shape policymaking, strategic planning, and future research in this dynamic and rapidly advancing field.
